Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki is the oldest daughter of three born in Stamford Connecticut, in 1978 to Eileen Dolan (nee Medvey] and Dimitrios R. Psaki. Dimitrios R. Psaki is a retired realty developer whose grandfather emigrated in 1904 from Greece and whose grandmother was Irish. Her parents got married in 1976. Psaki is also descended from Polish roots. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. In 2000, she completed her studies at the College of William & Mary. She graduated with a degree in English and sociology. She is an active member of the Chi Omega sorority. Psaki was an elite backstroke swimmer at William & Mary Tribe. Psaki began her professional career in 2001 as a re-election candidate for the U.S. Senate of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack. Psaki was later John Kerry's press secretary. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki as an analyst on the political scene for 2022 United States Elections and during the presidential campaign in 2024. In 2023, she will host a Peacock streaming show on MSNBC. [35The 35-year-old Psaki first appeared on TV in 2023 after she was fired as White House press secretary and spoke about the Robb Elementary School school shooting.
