Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a candidate for Senate in the United States, as well as a TV presenter at MSNBC. She was frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising, along with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would leave the show in May 2021 to begin Breaking Points, a new independent venture with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has made guest appearances on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. In 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball credits her passion for politics due to the reality that she became a mom during the 2008 primary elections, and was also able to watch the US presidential elections while in Jordan. She was able to see how the outcome affected people in the country and became aware of the impact that US politics have on the lives of people around the world. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district in the election of 2010, but lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. From June 2012 until July 2015, she was the co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. In May of 2017, she founded the People's House Project, a political action group working for Democratic causes.
